Sssshhhh. Don’t tell anyone about this secret gem of a dental office!! Don’t tell anyone that this is the BEST dentist office I’ve ever been to, the cleanest, the gentlest, the friendliest, the most inexpensive. Sssshhhhh, or else everyone will want to go here!!! Don’t tell anyone that they will generally fit you in the following day, that the doctor does the cleaning herself if she has time, that they have the fanciest equipment I’ve ever seen in a dental clinic, and sssshhhhh, don’t tell anyone that the name, Pound Ridge Cosmetic Dentistry is purposely deceiving because they are actually a straight up regular family dental clinic!!! I’d give this place 100 stars if I could.

I had gone over 2 years without dental visits due to Covid. When my dentist retired, I decided to try PRCD. So happy I did! Dr Feng and the receptionist gave me a big welcome. The dental assistant was very sweet and explained everything she was doing with the new (to me) equipment she was using. Dr Feng was wonderful about my sensitivity issues. Lots of numbing gel, I didn’t jump once. The office is immaculate and obviously has brand new equipment. They made a dreaded visit to the dentist enjoyable!

Dr Smith and her staff are the best. The office is immaculate. They treat their patients with kindness and respect. And their work is impeccable.

My daughter has come here twice for Botox treatment for TMJ. (On visits from NYC). I have accompanied her both times, and we both love Dr. Smith and the staff. She has taken a real holistic approach to this non-cosmetic issue, with a thoughtful, unhurried and calm manner. Assistants and front desk staff also great! Highly recommend.

The rumors are true! This is the BEST dental practice in the area. Dr. Smith and team are consistently kind, welcoming, efficient and extremely knowledgeable. The techniques used are top notch and the approach to care is crafted to the individual patient. I always leave with a smile.

Clean, modern, friendly

I have been using this Dentistry for about 2 years now, and I have been very impressed with their services. They’re use of state-of-the-art technology surpasses anything I’ve seen in other offices (e.g. micro 3D digital imaging cameras that capture your teeth in stunning photographic imagery with the ability to digitally rote them on-screen for viewing, laser technology for gum work, along with a broader selection of new and impressive equipment that is too lengthy to list, etc.). Beyond technology, their attention to detail, care and your comfort is superb. Dr. Helaine Smith has an immense background in dentistry and has pursued emerging technologies in dentistry with enthusiasm, compassion and zest. It is no surprise to learn of the awards of distinction that she has earned in her lifetime. Sheli Feng, DMD, (a former research scientist) has also been a pleasure to work with, as has been the rest of the staff. A nice convenience is they are located next door to a cute little cafe, for a quick cup of delicious coffee, afterwards, and parking is free, ample and easy. The small village setting of Scots Corners in Pound Ridge adds to the relaxed setting. While they do not take dental insurance at this time, they do promptly complete and submit paperwork to your insurance company, for easy claim processing, freeing you from having to manage this hassle. If dedicated and excellent dental care is your top priority, Pound Ridge Cosmetic Dentistry is very worthy of your attention.
